Procuring wood-based products from environmentally sustainable sources is one of the actions that Nikpol can take to promote responsible environmental management for the benefit of current and future generations. This policy will be adhered to by all Nikpol sites in Australia.

Sustainable sources of wood include meeting the following criteria:
• All wood-based products sourced from either FSC or PEFC sources

Nikpol's sourcing policy requires Nikpol to verify and monitor its sources,
reviewed and addressed to ensure an optimal commercial and environmentally
sustainable outcome is reached.

OF CUSTODY

Nikpol has adopted rigorous standards to ensure that we provide a transparent, and verifiable sourcing of all wood based products. This is why Nikpol conducted, and completed the two recognised timber based Chain of Custody standards in the world market.

We can offer the market certainty that all products are sourced under either the PEFC, and FSC Chain of Custody standards. Nikpol only sources wood based products that meet either of these standards.

GECA CERTIFICATION

The Good Environmental Choice Label is the only environmental labelling program in Australia which indicates the environmental performance of a product from a whole of product life perspective for consumer goods. The label is awarded to products that meet voluntary environmental performance standards which have been created and assessed in conformance to international environmental labelling standards.

The program is internationally recognised and growing in demand and awareness throughout different industries.
