Goods Receivables/Warehouse Assistant (QLD)

Nikpol currently has a position available for the role of GOODS RECEIVABLES/WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT at our Eagle Farm Warehouse. The opportunity is for someone to participate in a fast paced, growing and developing business.

Reporting to the Stock Controller, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving container loads of goods, unloading and storing in the Warehouse.
  • Using Navision software package for receiving stock into the system as well as stock replenishment.
  • Operating forklift for large and heavy loads.
  • Working with the Stock Controller to organise and receive stock.
  • General warehouse duties such as loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling, shipping.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks.

The successful applicant will require:

  • Experience and a Forklift License
  • Above average MS Office skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Excellent work ethic and punctuality
  • Solid background in a warehouse environment, particularly inventory management experience
  • Strong record of attention to detail
  • Strong safety record
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Production Assistant (QLD)

Nikpol Pty. Ltd. is a National Australian owned company that leads the way in decorative and storage solutions for both domestic and commercial interiors in the area of decorative timber surfaces, specialised hardware, domestic home appliances, drawer systems and hinges.

Nikpol has a Production Assistant position available in our fast paced, growing Production Department at our Eagle Farm warehouse. You will be required to work with timber products, such as benchtops and laminates. Training will be provided. This is not an Engineering role.

Reporting to the Production Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Operating machinery (Edge Bander; Baz CNC Router; Beam Saw; Bargstedt) and hand tools (Circular Saw; Chisels; Drills; Screw Drivers etc.) in accordance with all OH&S regulations.
  • Producing quality products that meet the specifications of the customer’s order.
  • Use Quality Control measures to reduce waste and remake.
  • Effectively packaging products to reduce damage.
  • Using all lifting equipment and follow any manual handling procedures.
  • Liaising with the Production Supervisor to produce a Daily Production Report.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • Machine Operating experience preferably in a timber manufacturing environment
  • FORKLIFT LICENSE is a must!
  • Ability to read basic technical drawings
  • Experience working with computers an advantage
  • Experience in packaging and dispatching
  • A flexible approach to work and willingness to multi-skill and rotate through various tasks
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Excellent work ethic, punctuality and attendance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong safety record
  • Excellent spoken & written English

Warehouse Assistant (QLD)

Nikpol currently has a position available for the role of Warehouse Assistant at our Eagle Farm warehouse.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling, shipping and receiving.
  • Operating Machinery (Edge Bander; Baz CNC Router; Beam Saw; Bargstedt) and hand tools (Circular Saw; Chisels; Drills; Screw Drivers etc.in accordance with all OH&S regulations.
  • Performing preventive maintenance (PMs) on forklift such as, checking fluid levels, recharging Forklift.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks.
  • Customer pick-ups (prioritize orders, customer requests, ensure orders are complete and available on time, assist customer to load products).
  • Goods Receivals experience an advantage

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • Ability to accurately pick paper based Orders

Production Assistant (VIC)

Nikpol currently has a position available for the role of Production Assistant in the fast paced, growing Production Department of our Heatherton warehouse, for our 9.00am to 5.30pm (Mon-Thur) and 9.00am to 3.30pm (Friday) shift. You will be required to work with timber products, such as benchtops and laminates. Training will be provided. This is not an Engineering role.

Warehouse Assistant (VIC)

Nikpol currently has a position available for the role of Warehouse Assistant at our Heatherton warehouse. The opportunity is for someone to participate in a fast paced, growing and developing business.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Load and unload trucks, order pick, wrap products, pack, label, ship and receive.
  • Complete all relevant paper work.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on forklifts such as, checking fluid levels, recharging the forklift every day prior to commencing tasks.
  • Report any equipment failures immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with operators from other shifts for handover and allocation of work priorities.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping – organize, clean and maintain a safe work area.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks using standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Take responsibility for quality control.
  • Ensure no damaged products are dispatched.
  • Move products to warehouse storage.
  • Coordinate customer pick-ups.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experienced and Licensed Forklift driver!
